人生は短い。過ぎ去った日々、見えない未来に囚われ、どれほどの人が「今」という時間、自分自身と向き合えているのだろうか。 昔読んだ本を読み返すと、文の解釈が変わっていることがよくある。本と出合う時、・読む時、別れる時、人の「今」は更新されている。ここでは来訪者たちが本の人生と関わりを通して、自身の今と向き合う場所である。
Life is short. How many people are facing themselves in the "now" time, trapped in the invisible future, every day that has passed? When I read back a book I read a long time ago, the interpretation of the sentence often changes. When you meet a book, when you read it, when you break up, the "now" of a person is updated. This is the place where visitors face their present through their involvement in the life of the book.
