京都府丹後町の袖志には、棚田と海、集落が調和した美しい景観が広がり、“おかずとり”という文化が存在する。袖志で問題となっている過疎化や産業の後継者不足、耕作放棄地の増加をこの集落における空白と捉え、その空白を埋めるべく“現代版おかずとり”と名付けた自給自足のプログラムを提案する。
Sodeshi in Tango-cho, Kyoto, has the beautiful landscape that the rice terrace, the ocean and the village harmonize well with one another. And there is also the culture of “ OKAZUTORI” which means a self-sufficiency.
I think it is the blank of the village that it has the problems of a depopulation, a
lack of successors in the industrial field and increasing of deserted cultivated land, so I propose the self-sufficient program named “the contemporary OKAZUTORI” to compensate for it.
