The program in SATOYAMA is going to be reconstructed in a modern way to create an "alternative to urban concentration" place. This proposal is a pioneering alternative to the urban-intensive future, and its case study is the village of Kamiseya in Kyoto Prefecture. I also hope that this proposal is going to lead to a reexamination of the view of nature that has been the foundation of post-modern society, and to a new way of envisioning the relationship between humans and nature.
