将来子どもが増えるかもしれない、転勤があるかもしれない、介護や働き方が変わるかもしれない。そうした不確定な暮らしを前に、住宅が固定された条件となることで、住むこと自体を諦めざるを得ない人が生まれている。本計画は、住宅が暮らしを縛る存在になるのではなく、暮らしの変化に応じて住まいのかたちが更新されていく関係をつくることを目指す。間取りや使い方をあらかじめ決めきらず、住み手自身の選択や変化を受け止めながら住み続けられる住宅像を提示する。その過程を支える仕組みとして、共用棟を介した資材循環を導入し、住まいの更新を特別な行為ではなく日常の延長として組み込むことで、暮らしが住まいをつくり続ける住宅地のあり方を提案する。
Uncertain futures—such as having children, relocation, or changes in work and care—often prevent people from choosing detached housing, as homes are designed around fixed assumptions. This project proposes housing that does not constrain life, but is continuously reshaped by it. Through adaptable spatial systems, residents can update their homes while staying. Material circulation supports this process as an everyday mechanism, allowing living patterns to actively transform the dwelling over time.
