作品コンセプト

庵治の街には、至る所に石のストックヤードが点在している。しかし、それらは生活の風景の一部として埋没し、いつしか人々の意識からこぼれ落ちた「放置された空白」と化してしまった。本設計は、街に散在する石の記憶を繋ぎ止め、それらが集結する「親玉」としての拠点を提示するものである。ただの保管場所ではなく、石が再び主役となる場所を構築することで、人々が石を「横目に過ぎ去る対象」から「共に生きる誇り」へと転換する、新たな街の骨格を追求した。

In the town of Aji, stone stockyards are scattered everywhere. Yet, they have faded into the backdrop of daily life, becoming "abandoned voids" that have slipped from the collective consciousness. This project seeks to reconnect these fragmented memories by establishing a "Master Hub" (the Oyadama) where the town's stones converge. By creating a space where stone reclaims its role as the protagonist—rather than a mere storage site—this design transforms the stone from something people simply pass by into a source of communal pride, defining a new structural backbone for the town.
