作品コンセプト

難波和彦は「設計の際、前もって想定される事前機能と、できあがった空間配列と現実の生活行為との相互作用によって新たに発見される事後機能は、一致しない」と述べています。本研究ではこの「事前機能と事後機能」のズレに注目し、「事前機能により標準化された形態そのもの」をデザインの価値として設計に利用します。標準化された住宅である「箱の家」を対象に、事前機能によって構築される住宅スケールを、研究と分析によりさらに原型化させます。その結果をもとに、住宅スケール（事前機能）を保ったまま建築全体のスケールを拡大することに挑戦し、住宅スケールが連鎖したオフィス（事後機能）の設計を行います。住む場所と働く場所に求められる価値が揺らぐ今だからこそ、本研究を通して新たな建築の価値の創出を目指しました。

Kazuhiko Namba states, "In designing, the pre-functions that are expected in advance and the post-functions that are newly discovered by the interaction between the created spatial arrangement and actual living activities do not match." In this research, we pay attention to the difference between "pre-function and post-function" and use "the form itself standardized by pre-function" as the value of design. For the standardized house "BOX HOUSE", the housing scale constructed by the pre-function will be further prototyped by research and analysis. Based on the results, we will challenge to expand the scale of the entire building while maintaining the residential scale (pre-function), and design an office (post-function) with a chain of residential scales. We aimed to create new architectural value through this research, because the value required for places to live and work fluctuates now.
