作品コンセプト

鉄道の街と謳われる大阪府吹田市。かつて東洋一と呼ばれた吹田操車場が存在し、日本の物流インフラを支える重要拠点であった。
現在は吹田貨物ターミナル駅が開業し、再び西日本の鉄道物流を支える主要拠点としての役割を果たしている。
コロナ禍に置いて物流はさらに住民に身近なものとなった。その中でも鉄道物流は今後起こりうるトラックドライバー規制の強化、モーダルシフトによって将来さらに利用が大きく見込まれ、貨物駅の担う役割はさらに高まると予想される。
現在大きな面積を使うが故に都市を分断し、また環境や騒音面で地域から忌避される貨物駅。ヒアリングをもとに分析、課題抽出を行い、物流を街に開き都市と共存する貨物駅の在り方と定住生活を脱却する新たなスタイルの提案を提案を行う。

Currently, freight stations divide the city because they occupy a large area, and are avoided by the local community in terms of the environment and noise. Based on the interviews, we will analyze and identify issues, and propose a new style of freight station that opens logistics to the city and coexists with the city, and a new style that breaks away from the sedentary life.
