Lake Biwa has connected various regions in Shiga, giving birth to numerous cultures and fostering unique and prosperous towns in each locality. However, currently, the presence of lake transportation has disappeared, local cultures are declining, and Lake Biwa stands as an emptiness that separates different areas. The purpose of this architecture is to reorganize the declining cultures in various regions by reclaiming connections through Lake Biwa. The proposal involves an architectural structure that moves on Lake Biwa. By traversing the lake and anchoring in different locations, this architecture interacts and responds to the cultures cultivated alongside Lake Biwa, bringing vitality to various areas. Acting as a memory device on Lake Biwa, this architecture carries the cultural heritage of the lake. Furthermore, this architecture, detached from the context of the site, takes advantage of the timelines in various regions, acting as a catalyst and infusing a celebratory atmosphere.
