京都市は約1200年の歴史を持つ都市であり、その姿は先人たちの努力によって作り上げられたものである。未来の京都市は現代の私たちが作りあげるものである。グローバル化が加速化する今、地域の拠点である図書館にグローバル化の象徴であるインターナショナルスクールを複合させることによりヒト・マチ・トキを紡いでいく文化拠点を提案する。
Kyoto City is a city with a history of approximately 1,200 years, and its appearance was created through the efforts of its predecessors. The Kyoto city of the future will be created by us today. Now that globalization is accelerating, we propose a cultural hub that weaves together people, community, and excitement by combining a library, which is a regional hub, with an international school, which is a symbol of globalization.
