This project focuses on the themes of "separation," "brief encounters," and "reunion" along the Mount Ōsaka trail. At the trailhead, symbolic crossings through wooden planks, stone slabs, and intersecting bamboo express spiritual transitions between daily life, the past, and the self. The fallen tree area features a tent-shaped frame, symbolizing temporary encounters and exchanges. At the mountaintop, a cross-shaped observation deck represents reunion, where separated individuals come together again. This spatial design reinterprets the symbolic processes of separation and reunion inherent to Mount Ōsaka in a contemporary context.
