As part of the civil engineering infrastructure that has become a background to mechanization and automation, the Setagawa Washi Weir has become deteriorated, and this work is being remodeled accordingly. By inserting everyday space into the Setagawa Washi Weir, which regulates the water levels of Lake Biwa and the Yodo River system, we aimed to convey the role of infrastructure through the changes in the weir and the everyday life that permeates it, and to attempt the coexistence of infrastructure and everyday life.
