Modern rural communities face numerous challenges, one of which is the shortage of welfare facilities. While welfare facilities themselves have various issues, we must ask whether they truly fulfill the essence of "welfare" as their name suggests. In addition to addressing the problems of existing welfare facilities, this project seeks to give tangible form to the concept of "welfare." To achieve this, interviews were conducted with residents of Kashimo, and based on their insights, this proposal explores the future of welfare architecture in rural areas.
