This project reconsiders the relationship between cities and waste disposal sites, which have been isolated and considered nuisances due to their negative image. In the heart of Tsuruga, which is undergoing a once-in-a-century turning point, we propose a waste disposal facility that utilizes the potential of the city and integrates with human activity, in an attempt to improve the city's waste problem and awareness of waste. Furthermore, by opening it to the town, we aim for the facility to become the city's core, a new public building that will support Tsuruga's future.
