日常的に通過している都市空間は、本当に「移動の場」にとどまっているのだろうか。本計画は京都駅前における多様な都市動線を知識創造の資源と捉え、郵便局を再編する提案である。都市の動線を引き込み、偶発的な視線や気配を重ねることで生まれる小さな対話やひらめきが、やがて新たな知となり、地域の未来へとつながっていく。
Are the urban spaces we pass through in our daily lives truly confined to being merely places of movement?
This project regards the diverse urban flows around Kyoto Station as resources for knowledge creation and proposes a reorganization of the post office. By drawing these urban flows into the building and layering incidental lines of sight and presences, the small conversations and flashes of insight that emerge gradually become new knowledge, ultimately connecting to the future of the local community.
