Maizuru has long prospered as a port town through its fishing industry. However, with modernization, the coast has been reclaimed and turned into a wharf for container ships, cutting the town off from the sea and causing the fishing industry, which was the town's livelihood, to decline. We propose a fishing port that will reconnect the town with the sea.
