「鉄は国家なり」にはじまった近代日本。
その日本を創ってきた北九州市・八幡製鉄所。まちのシンボルである工場景観から高炉の火が消えて久しい。
再び高炉に火を灯し、近代の記憶によって八幡の過去と未来をつなぐ建築を提案する。
Modern Japan began with "iron is a nation."
Kitakyushu City, Yawata Steel Works, which created Japan. It has been a long time since the fire of the blast furnace was extinguished from the factory landscape, which is the symbol of the town.
We will light the blast furnace again and propose an architecture that connects the past and future of Yawata with modern memories.
